The Corcoran Police Department’s Explorer program recently took part in the Central Coast Law Enforcement Police Explorer Competition held in Hanford. The event was hosted at the Kings fairgrounds.

The defending Central Section Division IV Girls Tennis Champions, Wasco Tigers, had the Panthers in that very position this past Wednesday, but just when Corcoran looked ready to taste defeat for the first time this year, the Panthers clawed their way back and eventually pulled away in doubles to claim the 2016 Division IV Valley Title by the score of 6 – 3.

Pill Glide—a spray that makes it easier to swallow pills—was brought to the market by Corcoran’s Jerry Robertson. It is now being marketed by FlavorX, which provided the spray for a trial that was reported on in the journal Pediatrics.
Micaela Castro died on September 27, 2016, one week from her 93rd birthday. She was a life-long Corcoran resident except for the first and last few years of her life and could never bear to be away from her beloved town for too long.
