Robert "Bobby" Flores Velasquez

Mr. Velasquez was born in Corcoran, California to Joe L. Velasquez and Isabel Flores Velasquez on February 25, 1953.  Robert was best known as Bobby. He was the youngest of 4 children.  He was loving and kind and devoted many holiday hours decorating his lawn for town contest winning several times.  He especially enjoyed camping in Pismo, teaching and playing basketball with his nephews, he enjoyed fishing and golfing. Bobby also loved drive in movies with a big tub of popcorn. Bobby is survived by his mother Isabel, his siblings Joe F. Velasquez, Jr., Victor F. Velasquez and Beatrice Madrid.  He is also survived by 14 nieces and nephews, 77 great nieces and nephews and 46 great-great nieces and nephews. Bobby was preceded in death by his father Joe L. Velasquez. Visitation was held Thursday, July 20 at Bledsoe Family People’s Funeral Chapel from 3-6 p.m. followed by the rosary which was held at 7 p.m. in Our Lady of Lourdes Catholic Church.  Arrangements were made under the direction of the Bledsoe Family People’s Funeral Chapel in Corcoran.
