Services will be held Monday, Jan. 5 at 10 a.m. at New Hope Fellowship for Israel Becerra, Jr., 59, who died Dec. 28, 2014 in Hanford.
Services were held yesterday (Wednesday) for Victor Rodriguez Castillo, 49, of Corcoran who died December 25 following a sudden illness.
Funeral mass was recited Thursday, Dec. 18 for Martin G. Escobedo, 50, who died Friday morning following a traffic accident on Highway 43 just north of Hanford.
According to the California Highway Patrol, Escobedo died when his pick-up, headed southbound on Highway 43, collided head-on with a big rig. The accident occurred just south of Fargo Ave. at about 10:10 a.m. Friday morning.

John Muir teacher Gerry Perrault was recently recognized as a finalist in the Region 7 California League of Middle Schools educator of the year competition. The local music teacher was nominated for the honor by Ken Spencer, principal at John Muir.
