Alfonso Arthur Smith of Corcoran, CA passed away on February 9, 2018.
Al was born March 21, 1939 in Los Angeles, CA.
After living and working in the Sacramento area for many  years, he accepted a job as a Stationary Engineer at the American Embassy in Moscow, USSR. Those years were just one highlight of a distictively lived life.
Upon returning to the U.S. he accepted a position with the State of CA, and remained living in Corcoran after retiring.
He is survived by three children  Victor Smith of Pasadena, CA; Art Smith and Lisa McDaniel, both living in Northern CA; numerous Grandchildren, Great-grandchildren, Siblings, Nieces, Nephews, Cousins and Friends who will miss him.
No services are scheduled, although he would not have objected to having a glass of beer raised in his memory.
