Monica and Michael Anderson of Corcoran renewed their wedding vows Aug. 29 for their 20th anniversary. The couple held a beautiful double ring ceremony in front of 200 guests at the First United Methodist Church in Corcoran. Presiding over the vow renewal ceremony was Pastor Raymond Scott.

For the ceremony, the bride wore a cream-colored strapless, floor length princess ball gown. The bodice was adorned with intricate beading and rhinestone embellishments. She completed her look with a rhinestone tiara and carried a cascading bouquet of white roses.

 

Her maid of honor was the couple’s daughter Alize Anderson. Anderson wore a floor length, one-shoulder chiffon dress adorned with flower details. The best man duties were given to Gary Garcia, the groom’s brother.

 

Bridesmaids who all wore Malibu chiffon one-shoulder, floor length gowns included Jamie Aldaco, Julie Franco, Jonelle Barrera, Melissa Ramos, Vickie Cole, Denita Jenkins, Deondra Cole, and Shatara Caldwell. Serving as groomsmen were Curtis Morris, Art Jackson, Horacio Barrera, Brandon Starks, Kenneth Starks, Steven Villa, Ron Caldwell and Andrew Avina.

Other members of the bridal party included Dana Cole, ring bearer Victoria Avina, flowergirl Aniyah Caldwell and ushers Ashley and Ricky Romero.

Following the ceremony, a reception was held at Recreation Association of Corcoran. The reception hall was decorated in the bride’s colors of turquoise, cream and black. Monica’s reception dress was a white empire waist floor length chiffon gown.

 

Monica and her husband, Michael will continue to make their home in Corcoran. She is a self-employed day care provider and he works for the J.G. Boswell Company as a landscaper. Monica is the daughter of Marion and Ernest Cole of Corcoran and Michael’s parents include Buddy Anderson and Beulah Hansbur.
