Annette Cortez Cabral formerly of Corcoran, passed away Monday, June 10, with her sons Tyler and Dustin Cabral, at her side at Hinds Hospice in Fresno.
Annette is the daughter of Fred and Sally Cortez, formerly of Corcoran.
Annette battled Cancer for the last five years and demonstrated her strength and strong spirit. Annette Graduated in 1975 from Corcoran High and was a member of the Corcoran High Marching Band, worked as a lifeguard at the Corcoran Swimming Pool, loved to sail, and was well trained in Judo. She worked as a dental assistant for over 30 years. She was a loyal Fresno Grizzlies fan and sat on its advisory board for three years.
Annette is preceded in death by her father, Fred, and is survived by her sons Tyler and Dustin, her mother Sally Cortez, her sister Cindy Prieto and her husband Jerry, and her brother Stan Cortez and his wife Helen, and nieces and nephews.
Visitation was held at Bledsoe Family People’s Funeral Chapel June 19, 2019 from 3 p.m. to 7 p.m. Rosary Mass Combined was held June 20, 2019 at Our Lady of Lourdes Catholic Church at 10:00 a.m. Burial was held at Corcoran Cemetery.
