Betty worked as an aide for more than 30 years before retiring from Corcoran Unified School District. She was a devoted wife, mother, sister, grandmother and friend to many in her family and community and will be greatly missed.Survivors include her husband, Louie Chavez of Corcoran; her three sons, Joe Chavez of Lemoore, James Chavez of Lemoore and Jesse Chavez of Corcoran; as well as four grandchildren, Kiera Chavez, Jesse Chavez, Amanda Chavez and Eric Chavez; six sisters, Glenda, Dana, Barbara, Dorothy, Patsy and Nancy; six great grandchildren; and her extended sisters, Lilly, Stella and Sally. A private family service was held.
