Registration is underway for the Boswell Games 5K Fun Run and Walk, which will be held Saturday, May 14. The race will begin at 7 a.m. at the Recreation Association of Corcoran (RAC), 900 Dairy Avenue.
Check in will start at 6 a.m. near the RAC soccer fields. Entry fees are $25 for adults, which includes a welcome pack and shirt; $15 for children ages 12 and under, includes a welcome pack and shirt; and children ages five and under are free, however a shirt is not included.
Early packet pick up is Friday, May 13 at Sole 2 Soul Sports in Visalia or race day at 6 a.m. at the starting line at the RAC. Overall awards as well as age group awards will be given; also all finishers will receive an award.
The race is held in conjunction with the Boswell Games, traditionally held every four years, coinciding with the Olympic Games. Following the event there will be exciting sports tournaments played by employees of the J.G. Boswell Company, There will also be music, a kids’ fun zone and a variety of food vendors.
