Brian Lee Flaherty, 27, also known to his friends as “Smallz”, was born on June 19,1991 in Hanford, California. He passed away on Sunday, Dec. 9, 2018.
Brian was the son of Pat and JoAnn Flaherty of Corcoran. He was a life-long resident of Corcoran attending Corcoran schools and graduating from Corcoran High in 2009.
Brian played T-Ball and Babe Ruth. He was an avid San Francisco Giants fan. He worked for the Corcoran Unified School District.
In addition to his parents, Brian is survived by brothers, Kevin Flaherty and Brent Flaherty; Grandpa Bruce Flaherty; Uncles Jeff (Monica) Flaherty, Kyle Flaherty, Larry (Susan) Sharp, Calvin Sharp, Doyle (Michelle) Sharp and many cousins.
He was preceded in death by his grandparents David Lee Sharp and Mary Lou Sharp, Grandma Barbara Flaherty, Uncle Jerry Sharp and Aunt Mary Sharp-Elkins.
Graveside services were held yesterday (Wednesday) Dec. 19 at 11 a.m. at Corcoran District Cemetery.
