BAKERSFIELD, CA – Assemblymember Rudy Salas (D-Bakersfield) has proven once again that he is the candidate of choice for law enforcement and public safety after the California State Sheriffs’ Association announced their endorsement of Salas for re-election to the 32nd Assembly District.
“The men and women who serve as sheriffs dedicate their lives to protecting and serving families in the Central Valley and throughout California,” said Assemblymember Salas. “I admire the work that they do to keep our communities safe and am honored to earn their support. I am proud of the accomplishments that we have been able to achieve by working together, including securing millions for public safety and community services in the Central Valley.”
California State Sheriffs’ Association (CSSA) is a nonprofit professional organization comprised of the 58 sheriffs along with thousands of law-abiding citizens throughout the state. The association was formed in 1894 for the purpose of giving California sheriffs a single effective voice.
