The City of Corcoran’s spring clean-up event will be held Monday, April 12 through Saturday, April 17.

The local clean-up is offered to any utility customer of the City of Corcoran. The week prior to the event, participants must obtain a voucher at Corcoran City hall to participate; only one voucher per household is allowed.The City of Corcoran’s spring clean-up event will be held Monday, April 12 through Saturday, April 17. The week prior to the event, participants must obtain a voucher at Corcoran City hall to participate; only one voucher per household is allowed.During clean up week, participants with cars and pick-up trucks can deliver their waste to KWRA Material Recovery Facility at 7803 Hanford-Armona Road (one truck or one trailer) from 7 a.m.-4 p.m. Participants must arrange for their own help to off load their vehicle. Senior citizens and disabled persons can arrange a time and date for curbside pick-up by calling Corcoran Public Works at 992-2151 extension 2201.Residents disposing of tires will be charged $3-$12 per tire with a limit of nine tires.  Residents disposing of CRTs, computer monitors and TVs will not be charged a per unit fee. Residents disposing of appliances will be charged $15 per appliance. Items that will be accepted include sofas, refrigerators, stoves, green waste, water heaters, old electronics, furniture and mattresses. Items that will not be accepted during the clean up include hazardous material such as paint, chemicals, aerosols, etc. and treated wood. Due to the COVID-19 pandemic, the following rules must be adhered to:–All residents must wear masks and follow social distancing guidelines.–Residents must be through the gate by 4 p.m., waiting in line will not constitute entry. –Social distancing protocols must be followed while dumping and since all residents must adequately space out while they unload, clean up participants should expect longer wait times.Corcoran residents can pick up vouchers at City Hall 832 Whitley Ave, the week before the event Monday, Tuesday, Thursday and Friday from 8 a.m.-5 p.m. and on Wednesday from 8 a.m.-12 p.m.For more information or with any questions call 992-2151 ext. 2201.
