With warmer days approaching residents are being reminded of the City of Corcoran’s three-day watering schedule. Outdoor watering of lawns, gardens, landscaped areas, plants, trees, shrubs and other greenspace areas is as follows:

–No watering between 9 a.m. and 7 p.m.
–Residential and commercial properties with addresses ending with an even number—0,2,4,6 and 8 may irrigate on Wednesdays, Fridays and/or Sundays.
–Residential and commercial properties with addresses ending with an odd number—1,3,5,7 and 9 may irrigate on Tuesdays, Thursdays and/or Saturdays.
–Churches may irrigate on Mondays, Wednesdays and/or Fridays.
–Multi-family complexes may irrigate on Tuesdays, Thursdays and/or Saturdays.
–Watering is not allowed during and up to 48 hours after measurable rainfall.
–No washing of sidewalks, driveways, parking areas, courts, patios or other paved areas.
–Runoff of water on areas not requiring irrigation will be deemed as water waste.
–Automobiles, trucks, trailers, boats, airplanes and other types of vehicles may be washed when using a hand held hose equipped with a positive shut-off nozzle.
The watering schedule does not apply to water customers using a drip irrigation system to water gardens, plants, trees, shrubs and other landscape areas. Any violation to the City water ordinance will result in a citation.
