The Corcoran Chamber of Commerce’s Christmas Parade was held last week. Sponsored by Richard’s Chevrolet, the parade yielded several winners in various categories.
The Corcoran High ROTC group won for best walking/marching group while the Hanford Elks who bring their giant flag every year also took home a trophy.
Corcoran Hardware won in the decorated motor vehicle category.
Elementary band category winner was Fremont while John Muir won for Jr. High Band category and Corcoran High School took home the trophy in the high school band category.
The Corcoran Steelers cheerleading squad took home the trophy in the performing group category.
For floats; Corcoran and Waukena 4-H won for non-profit floats while John Muir ASB won for school floats and E and B won for best commercial float. Comic and novelty category winner was the Choo Choo Train and the City of Corcoran took home the trophy for antique car. The winner of the trophy for ca club was the Lake Bottom Cruisers.
