Corcoran’s Relay for Life event is planned for Saturday, April 23 at Corcoran Community Stadium.

Corcoran’s event will begin early Saturday morning, April 23 with a opening ceremonies and the survivor’s lap. Througout the day themed laps will be held as well as team competitions and events and team fundraisers.
Saturday evening the touching candelaria tribute will be held, which will light the track throughout the night. Luminarias are lit in honor of those who are currently fighting cancer and those who have passed away from it.
The event will culminate Sunday morning with the announcement of top individual and team fundraisers.
The American Cancer Society Relay for Life event is a life-changing experience that gives everyone in the communities across the globe a chance to celebrate the lives of people who have battled cancer.

The local event also has a Facebook page with more information. Currently, 10 teams, which include 79 participants have already raised nearly $6,500 online and look forward to raising event more money for the American Cancer Society. Top fundraising individuals online for Corcoran include Relay Chairman Ron Subia, Nancy Molina and Beckie Avalos while top teams are Event Staffers, Love, Hope, Relay and Judge’s Krew.
