Mass services will be held Wednesday, May 11 at 10 a.m. in Our Lady of Lourdes Catholic Church for Dionicio Navarro, 81, who died May 2 at home with his family by his side.
A native of Texas, Mr. Navarro had made Corcoran his home since he was 18 years old. Mr. Navarro worked for 68 years as a farm laborer.
Survivors include his children, Rudy Navarro, Gilbert Navarro, Corina Padron, Florinda Navarro, Bridgette Chavez, Daniel Navarro, Brandy Guzman and Dionicio Rodriguez; his siblings, Narciso Navarro, Freddie Navarro, Pilar Navarro, Juan Navarro, Maria de Lugres Navarro and Velma Navarro; 24 grandchildren; and 27 great grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his wife, Rachel, daughters, Norma Navarro and Rachel Rodriguez; daughter-in-law Simona Navarro; siblings, Pedro Navarro, Margaret Gonzalez and Lala Navarro; 24 grandchildren; and 27 great-grandchildren.
Visitation will be held at Bledsoe Family People’s Funeral Chapel Tuesday, May 10, 2016 from 3-6 p.m. Rosary will be held Tuesday, May 10 in Our Lady of Lourdes Catholic Church at 7 p.m.
Following mass services Wednesday, May 11, interment will be at Corcoran District Cemetery.
