Written by Tina Botill

Donovan Joseph Menvielle was born January 2, 1995. Donovan grew up in Corcoran with his mother and stepdad and was surrounded by many cousins. His young life was tragically taken by violence on July 22, 2022.
He is preceded in death by his father, and is survived by his mother, stepfather, grandparents, and many aunts, uncles, and cousins.
Donovan will always be remembered as that funny little boy with the big dimples, who loved to go fishing, riding quads, playing video games, and watching Raiders games and the Miami Hurricanes with his stepdad. He was always very curious, and his favorite phrase was, “But why?” As a young man, he was friendly and had many friends. Many considered him a big teddy bear.
The family held a private service to bid Donovan farewell before he was laid to rest. For those friends who wish to honor Donovan, we ask that you light a candle in prayer and ask to stop the violence.
