Eric was an avid motorcycle man and Pittsburgh Steeler fan. A man who loved his wife, kids and grandbabies. You could not miss seeing the pride, joy and love in his eyes when speaking of his sons and the men they turned out to be. The love for his grandchildren was without measure but those two little 3 year-old divas, Harley and Dakota–they held their “Papa’s” whole heart.
Eric is survived by his wife, Malissa; son, Eric Jr. and wife, Elizabeth and son, Adam; grandsons, Hayden and Axell; granddaughters, Harley, Brylann and Dakota. He is also survived by his father, Danny; stepmother, Peggy; brothers, Mark Burden and Matt Burden, both of Corcoran, Brian Burden of Tulare and Danny Burden Jr. of Visalia; sisters, Elizabeth (Lizzie) Hill of Tulare, Anna Garcia of Corcoran, Alicia (Lisa) Becerra of Fresno; and numerous nephews, nieces, great-nephews, great-nieces, aunts, uncles, and cousins.
Eric was preceded in death by his mother, Mary Helen Burden.
A viewing/visitation was scheduled for Monday, August 24 at Sterling & Smith Funeral Home, 409 N. K Street, Tulare Ca. from 10:00 a.m. – 5:00 p.m. (masks required). There will not be a burial as Eric will be going home to his family in Arkansas.
