THE CITY OF CORCORAN held a ribbon cutting at Father Stephen Wyatt Park which is located at 900 Flory Avenue in Corcoran. Major improvements were recently completed at the park and it is ready to be enjoyed by local residents. Some of the improvements done include new playground equipment, upgrades to the bathroom–new doors with electric strike-timer and paint, and work done to improve the baseball field. All the work totalled nearly $60,000 which were paid for by the Housing Related Parks Grant from Housing and Community Development. Among those shown above are City Councilmembers Jeanette Zamora-Bragg, Mayor Ray Lerma, Pat Nolen and Sid Palmerin and City Manager Dr. Kindon Meik.
