Fermin was born July 25, 1937 in Phoenix, Arizona and passed away peacefully at his home in Corcoran, California on Tuesday, June 2, 2015. He was 77 years old.
Fermin graduated from Corcoran High School Class of 1956. Out of high school he joined the Air Force where he was an airplane mechanic. After being discharged in 1960 from the Air Force, he went to work for the Corcoran Unified School District as a Maintenance Worker, where he worked for 35 years. He was a member of the AmVets post 56 and VFW. Fermin loved to golf, enjoyed the sport of boxing, football (49ers), baseball and horse racing. Most of all he enjoyed spending time with his family and friends.
Fermin is survived by his loving wife Mickey of 54 years, his three daughters Yolanda Espinoza of Los Angeles, CA, Becky Valdovinos of Corcoran and Valerie Lee and her husband Robert of Visalia, and his five grandchildren, Danielle Wraith and her husband Lee Wraith, Matthew and Brandon Lee, Ashley and Ariel Valdovinos. He is also survived by his sisters Margaret and Connie.
He is preceded in death by his parents Alejandro and Josefa, and his brothers and sisters Donna, Louis, Alex, Martha and Larry.

Visitation was held at Bledsoe Funeral Chapel Thursday, June 11 from 3-6 p.m.
Rosary was also held June 11 at 7 p.m. at Our Lady of Lourdes Catholic Church in Corcoran.
Mass was held June 12 at 10 a.m. at Our Lady of Lourdes Catholic Church. Burial will follow at Calvary Cemetery in Hanford.
