The 15th annual Fiesta Mexicana will be held Saturday, Aug. 15 at the historic Hanford Civic Auditorium.
The event will showcase the talents of local groups including Island Hawaiian Dancers, Stacey’s Fiddlers and Aztec Dancers. Also, two groups from Fresno—Danzantes de Aztlan of Fresno State and Teocalli Academy will both bring professional Folklorico dancers.
Fiesta Mexicana is planned and organized by the instructors, parents and students. Funds obtained from the event will be utilized for scholarships, travel, guest instructors and special events.
Ballet Folklorico “Sol Del Valle” and Mariachi los Reyes express the rich Mexican culture at its fullest, a culture that will continue to enrich our generation and those to come.
