There will be no services held for Gilbert Hernandez Garcia, who was born February 17, 1951 in Los Angeles and who died September 7, 2018 in Corcoran. He was 67.
Gilbert moved to Corcoran with his parents, brothers and sisters. He graduated from Corcoran High School and worked in the agriculture industry. He enjoyed traveling.
Mr. Garcia is survived by his wife of 20 years, Toni Hawkins; six sisters, Antonia Roman of Porterville, Stella Garcia of Goodyear, Arizona, Gloria Gutierrez of Chula Vista, and Mary Perez, Zenaida Garcia and Sara Torres, all of Corcoran; two brothers, Louis Garcia and John Garcia, both of Corcoran; and many nieces and nephews.
Gilbert was preceded in death by his son, Gilbert Garcia Jr., his parents, Lupe and Felipe, and his brother, Felipe (Packer) Garcia.
Gilbert will be buried at Corcoran District Cemetery.
