Stephanie Graville has received the Sanford Teacher Award for the state of Nevada. Sanford Teacher Award sponsored by National University recognizes and rewards the nation’s top inspiring teachers, one from each state.

Stephanie is a Corcoran High graduate and has taught second grade but is currently the physical education teacher at C.C. Ronnow Elementary in Las Vegas, Nevada, The Sanford Teacher Award recognizes teachers who demonstrate enthusiasm for teaching, show empathy and warmth toward all students, foster positive relationships with all students, create positive learning environments, and recognize student strengths.
Besides teaching physical education and supporting staff activities, Stephanie has developed a student Marathon Club sponsored by Nike, coaches flag football, basketball and soccer and assists with drama productions as well as completing a master’s degree in reading literacy and running marathons herself sponsored by Nike.
Along with the recognition of representing the state of Nevada for this award, she is also the recipient of a check for $10,000. Stephanie is the daughter of Mike and Gloria Graville of Corcoran.
