Mass services were held Tuesday, June 21 at 10 a.m. in Our Lady of Lourdes Catholic Church for Gudelia Elias, 91, who died June 7 in Visalia.
Gudelia was born in Mexico City, Mexico on August 31, 1930 to Isidoro Mosqueda and Paulina Raya Mosqueda. She worked as a farm laborer for 20 years.
Gudelia is survived by her children, Antonio Elias, Javier Elias, Maria Victoria Monroy and Virginia Elias Correa; her sister Maria Centeno; seven grandchildren; and eight great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Juan Ramirez Elias; her son, Juan Elias; daughters, Maria Elena Elias, Maria Teresa Elias; and grandsons, Vincent Bonilla and Stephen Bonilla III; her parents; and siblings Maria Chavez, Antonio Vaca and Guadalupe Mosqueda.
Visitation was held in Our Lady of Lourdes Catholic Church Monday, June 20 from 3-6 p.m. with Rosary at 6 p.m.
Following mass services Tuesday, June 21 interment was at the Corcoran Cemetery. Arrangements were made under the direction of Bledsoe Family People’s Funeral Chapel.
