
On Friday, May 29th 2020, Heather Dawn Maciel, loving, amazing wife and mother of two precious children, entered into rest at the age of 44.
On Friday, May 29th 2020, Heather Dawn Maciel, loving, amazing wife and mother of two precious children, entered into rest at the age of 44.Heather was born on June 9, 1975 in Hanford, CA to Rick and Cathy Toney. She worked for Palm Occupational for 27 years where she worked her way up the ranks and was the Office Manager for Dr. Tenn and she was loved and respected by all her co-workers and patients. On June 2, 2001, she married the love of her life Mario Maciel. They raised one beautiful daughter, Makaela, and one handsome son Macen. Heather and Mario were also part owners of Famous Vodka.Heather’s husband and two children were her everything. She loved to get together with her family in Corcoran, sometimes just to have dinner at New China restaurant. She loved to get together with friends who became family for trips to Pismo and Oceano as well as the desert glamping. Heather loved going to the lake and would never pass down a float down the Kings River. She also loved to get together at friends’ homes for swims, bonfires, music, dancing and watching UFC fights. She lit up a room the second she walked into it and was always the life of the party. She never met a stranger and could always make you feel part of the group even if she had just met you. She was kind, compassionate, everyone’s friend, free spirited, lived and loved life to the fullest. Heather was preceded in death by her grandfather Lee Toney, grandmother Lova Toney, grandfather O.D. Gray, grandfather Pat Gossage and grandfather Lew Galloway. She is survived by her husband Mario; her two children, Makaela and Macen; her parents, Rick and Cathy Toney; grandmother, Alta Gossage; brother, Josh Toney; niece, Rylee Toney; nephew, Hunter Toney; as well as her dear cousin, Ashlan Parker, cousin Karen Folks, cousins Brandon and Bradley Airington, cousin Dallas Negrete, and many other cousins as well as a tremendous amount of beloved friends. A beautiful graveside service was held Friday, June 5, 2020 at North Tulare Public Cemetery in Tulare, CA. A celebration of her life was held at The Mendonca and Sons Dairy Hall where she packed the house with her loved ones. Heather will be greatly missed by her husband, children, parents, brother, grandmother, niece and nephew, in-laws, many cousins and hundreds of friends.
