The Corcoran Journal and Corcoran Chamber of Commerce will join forces and sponsor the Holiday Cookie and Fudge Contest.
Enter your favorite recipe into the contest which will be held Friday, Dec. 9. The Corcoran Journal and Corcoran Chamber of Commerce are once again co-hosting the contest which includes two categories: cookies and fudge. Cash prizes will be given to winners in each category.
Judging will take place Friday, Dec. 9 and baking entries must be turned in before 2 p.m. that day. Winners will be immediately notified and their photo along with their recipe will be featured in The Corcoran Journal.
Participants need to bring one dozen of their cookies or pieces of fudge. Participants can have more than one entry. The entries should be placed on disposable plates or in disposable containers. Recipes should be attached to each entry.
Judges will choose the winning recipes based on taste, texture and appearance. Entry forms are currently available at The Journal/Corcoran Chamber of Commerce office which is located at 1040 Whitley Avenue. For more information call 992-3115 or 992-4514.
