Residents in Corcoran were startled by the sound of gunfire Sunday night, as shooting shook the 2300 block of Patterson Avenue around 9:35 p.m.

According to the Corcoran Police Department, officers rushed to the scene following reports of a shooting at an inhabited dwelling. Upon arrival, they discovered multiple spent casings littering the roadway, indicating that a firearm had been discharged. Additionally, they found that a residence in the area had been struck twice by gunfire.

No individuals were reported to have been shot or injured during the incident.

The victim’s identity remains confidential, and details about the suspect or suspects are currently unknown. As of now, no arrests have been made in connection to the incident.
