Private family services were held for Imelda Carranza, 62, of Corcoran who died January 15, 2021 in Casimiro Castillo.

Imelda was born in Casimiro Castillo, Jalisco on May 13, 1958. She was a loving wife and mother to husband Valentin and her five children. Imelda was a strong female figure to her family and friends. As an amazing cook, her tamales were popular around town and she was known as an avid bingo player among her friends. Imelda truly lived life to the fullest through simple pleasures. She was a hardworking, passionate pillar of strength full of love and support. Her selfless spirit and memory will forever be cherished by those who knew her. Survivors include her husband, Valentin Carranza; her children, Marco Raudales, Alejandra Navarro and David Carranza, all of Corcoran, Valentin Carranza of Visalia, Ricardo Carranza of Los Angeles; and 10 grandchildren.
