Homes hit by gunfire

Corcoran Police officers are searching for more information on a shooting which occurred Sunday, March 21 at approximately 5:20 p.m. in the 1200 block of King Avenue.Corcoran Police officers are searching for more information on a shooting which occurred Sunday, March 21 at approximately 5:20 p.m. in the 1200 block of King Avenue.Corcoran Police Officers responded to that area for a report of shots fired. Witnesses contacted in the area reported a white Chevrolet vehicle was traveling westbound in the 800 block of Jepsen Avenue when its occupants began shooting out of the vehicle. The occupants of the vehicle were described as two Hispanic male adults who are approximately 20 years old. Officers located numerous shell casings in the 800 block of Jepsen Avenue.Officers also located residences in the 1100 block of Jepsen Avenue and in the 900 block of Bainum Avenue that were struck by the gunfire. The investigation is ongoing and anyone with information regarding this incident is encouraged to contact Detective Sergeant Padama at (559) 992-5151.
