Janice Marie Walls, 70, passed peacefully on January 18, 2019 in Sacramento, CA.
Janice was born March 30, 1948 in Hanford to Ernest and Annie Jewel Walls. She is one of four children.
Janice was preceded in death by her brother John and sister Reta.
She worked for the San Juan Unified School District for over 20 years. Janice enjoyed her time working with students and serving her community. Janice was a hard worker who found joy being with the family and spending time in her garden. She will be remembered for her creativity, fun spirit, caring heart, and lover for all things sci-fi.
She is survived by her sister, Vonnie Walls; two daughters, Marie Jimenez and Brandy Reid; three grandchildren, Haley Reid, Louie Jimenez and Alexandra Jimenez.
Graveside services were held for family Jan. 25 in Corcoran. A Celebration of Life will be held March 30 in Sacramento.
