Combined rosary and mass services were held Thursday, May 14 at 10 a.m. in Our Lady of Lourdes Catholic Church for Jessie Mary Paredes, 84, who died May 5 in Hanford.
Born in Lemoore to Dimas Marquez and Gregoria Cortez Marquez, Mrs. Paredes was a life-long resident of Corcoran. She was a member of Our Lady of Lourdes Catholic Church and The Thursday Club. She was a homemaker.
Survivors include her brothers, Lee S. Marquez and Frank Marquez; and numerous nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Paul; siblings, Guadalupe Marquez, John Marquez, Salvador Marquez, Paul Marquez; and sister, Dolores Delgado.
Visitation was held yesterday (Wednesday) at the Bledsoe Family People’s Funeral Chapel. Following today’s services, interment will be at Calvary Cemetery in Hanford.
Arrangements were made under the direction of the Bledsoe Family People’s Funeral Chapel.
