Celebration of Life services were held at Bledsoe Family People’s Funeral Chapel Monday, January 14 at 11 a.m. for Joe Franklin Ivy.

Joe was born in St. Louis, Missouri on February 9, 1938.  He passed away January 7 in Corcoran, CA.  Joe served in the United States Army.  He met and married Susie Grant Ivy and they were married for 55 years. He worked for Unocal as a mechanic for 26 years and then worked for the City of Corcoran for 12 years. 
Survivors include his wife, Susie; daughters, Leslie Nave and husband Rick of Stratford and Cyndi Ivy of Corcoran; sisters, Sharon Morris of Missouri and Yvonne Ashton of Texas; and two grandchildren, Kylie Nave and Thomas Nave.
Donations may be made to American Cancer Society. Arrangements were made under the direction of the Bledsoe Family People’s Funeral Chapel.
