Corcoran police officer Patrick Jurdon was recognized by the Central Valley Mothers Against Drunk Drivers (MADD) organization last week in Fresno.

Jurdon attended the MADD event in Fresno Wednesday, April 27. Officers were recognized from Kings, Tulare, Fresno, Madera and Merced counties. The event was sponsored by MADD and the California Office of Traffic Safety.
Jurdon received a plaque from MADD honoring his outstanding contribution to help stop the crime of DUI. He made 14 DUI arrests during 2015.
Corcoran PD would like to remind the community that law enforcement everywhere needs their help with reducing the number of DUI drivers on the road endangering the public.
The police department encouirages anyone to call 911 should they see a drunk driver.
