A public celebration of life was held Friday, April 21 from 10 a.m.-12 p.m. at Koinonia Church, 12536 Armona Rd. in Hanford for Kristin Landeros Wimbley, Alphonso O. Wimbley and Kyan O. Wimbley. The Cemetery/Reception will be private.
Kristin (Kris) Landeros Wimbley, 44, lived in Corcoran and died March 27, 2017. She was born on March 2, 1973 in Newport Beach, CA. Her parents are Rudy Landeros and Linda Fanti. She married Alphonso O. Wimbley, August 25, 2000 (predeceased March 27, 2017). Kristin was employed for 17 years at J.G. Boswell Company as a Workers Compensation Manager. Her children are Marina LeFridge, Marvin LeFridge, Jaden Wimbley and Kyan Wimbley (predeceased March 27, 2017); step-children Brittany Wimbley, Brandon Wimbley and Natalie Wimbley. She has four grandchildren; and her siblings include Candice Landeros (Valerie), Lance Landeros (Jolene), Ian Landeros (Michelle), Violette Landeros (John), Sasha (Scott) Gray and Saline Landeros.
Alphonso O. Wimbley, 55, lived in Corcoran, CA and died March 27, 2017. He was born on May 22, 1962 in Drakesboro, Kentucky. His parents include Andrew Wimbley, Sr. (predeceased) and Ada Wimbley. He married Kristin Wimbley, August 25, 2000 (predeceased March 27, 2017). Alphonso was employed with the State of California as a Correctional Officer in Corcoran, CA. His children are Brittany Wimbley, Brandon Wimbley, Natalie Wimbley, Jaden Wimbley, Kyan Wimbley (predeceased); step-children include Marina LeFridge and Marvin LeFridge. His siblings include Andrew “Butch” Wimbley Jr. (predeceased) and Almond Wimbley.
Kyan O. Wimbley, 13, lived in Corcoran, CA and died March 27, 2017. He was born on December 17, 2004 in Tulare, CA. His parents include (Predeceased) Alphonso O. Wimbley and Kristin Wimbley. Kyan’s siblings are Marina LeFridge, Marvin LeFridge, Jaden Wimbley, Brittany Wimbley, Brandon Wimbley and Natalie Wimbley. Kyan attended Waukena Joint Elementary School, where he was in the 7th Grade. He was a three-time overall school athlete of the year, in addition to playing various club sports year round.
