LaMond H. McDougald was born June 17, 1927 in Madera, California to John J. Hurley and Mildred J. Hurley. She passed away at her home in Visalia with family by her side.
She moved to Corcoran at the age of two. She attended Corcoran schools. LaMond was married to Charles McDougald for 56 years. To their union were born Joseph and SueAnn. She was active in our community as a member of the Thursday Club, Soroptimist Club, Historical Society committee, Mural Committee, Cotton Heirs and Emergency Aid.
She is survived by her husband, Charles; children, Joseph and wife Rachel of Wildbey Island, Washington, and SueAnn and Thomas Permutt of Columbia, MD. Lamond is also survived by one grandson, Sean and a host of friends.
She was preceded in death by both parents, one brother, and one sister.
Visitation was held at Our Lady of Lourdes Catholic Church, Friday, October 9, 2015 from 9-10 a.m. Rosary Mass combined services followed. Interment was at Corcoran District Cemetery.
