Corcoran Unified School District is inviting any interested community residents to get online to complete a survey providing input regarding the district’s Local Control Accountability Program (LCAP) funds for next year.

The program had added hundreds of thousands of dollars to the district’s budget; however, the funds must be spent for items that have direct student impact.

To meet the needs of the district, its staff and students, CUSD has included a survey, in both English and Spanish, on its website. The survey takes just minutes to complete.

“The goal of the survey is to receive feedback on providing information that can be used to prioritize the district’s goals and direction in developing our plan,” noted Superintendent Rich Merlo. “Your participation is critical in assisting us through this process.”

Once completed, the survey information will be taken into consideration as the district determines how it will use the state’s new funding formula to complete its plan.

To take the survey, log on to the school district’s website at www.corcoranunified.com.
