Leonard Soliz Chavez, Sr. of Corcoran entered the arms of Jesus on December 12, 2014 at the age of 53. He was born January 19, 1961 in Hanford, to Reynaldo G. Chavez and Mary S. Soliz Chavez.
Leonard was Assistant Pastor of Corcoran Apostolic Church for 9 years. He is survived by his wife Julia, his children Leonard Chavez, Jr, Julian Chavez and Priscilla Marin. He is also survived by his parents Reynaldo and Mary Chavez, his brother David Chavez, grandchildren Julian Rey Chavez Jr., Thiago Chavez, Rylen LaStrelle and Ciara Graze Chavez. He is preceded in death by his brother Rick Chavez. Visitation will be at Corcoran Apostolic Church, Thursday, December 18, 2014 from 4:00pm to 9:00pm with an evening service at 6:30pm. Funeral Services will be held Friday, December 19, 2014 at the First United Methodist Church at 10:00 AM. Burial will follow at Corcoran Cemetery.
