An Early Childhood Literacy workshop will be held Tuesday, Feb. 10 and Tuesday, Feb. 17 from 11:30 a.m.-1:30 p.m. at the Corcoran Family Resource Center.
Those planning on attending must register for the workshop. Child care will also be provided. The workshop which is being sponsored by the Corcoran Kiwanis Club and Assemblyman Rudy Salas is being offered to help provide ideas and suggestions on how to make a home a reading friendly environment.
The workshop will include a presentation and handouts, a visit to the Corcoran library, and those attending will also decorate a book bag. There will also be raffle prizes.
