Lydia Trevino Gallegos, 75, a long-time resident of Corcoran, went to be with the Lord September 18, 2015.
Born in 1940 in Mercedes, Texas, Lydia built her life in Corcoran. She was a gifted homemaker to all of her children, a generous Grandmother to all of her grandchildren, and a loveable Great Grandmother to all of her great grandchildren.
She was a devout prayer warrior and servant of Jesus Christ. She enjoyed sewing, reading books, crossword puzzles, and Bingo. Lydia’s most favorite pastime was when she was surrounded by her family.
Lydia is survived by her brothers and sisters, Joe Trevino of Bakersfield, Reymond Trevino of Utah, Mario Trevino of Tulare, Lucy Valles of Corcoran, Angela Ernst of Tulare, Lupe Moreno of Sanger, Camilla Martinez of Washington; her children, Lupe Bustillos of Visalia, Peter Gallegos of Washington, Armando Gallegos of Visalia, Diana Montoya of Lemoore, Rose M. Rangle of Bakersfield, Ricky Gallegos of Tulare, Rey Gallegos of Tulare, Manuel Gallegos of Hanford, and Steven Gallegos of Lemoore. She also leaves behind 21 grandchildren and 27 great grandchildren who will miss her dearly.
Services will be held at Our Lady of Lourdes in Corcoran, Ca. Rosary will be held Thursday, September 24, 2015 at 7 p.m. The funeral mass and burial was held Friday, September 25, 2015 at 10 a.m.
