Ernie Munoz was arrested last Tuesday, Nov. 2., after police responded to a medical aid call in the 1500 block of Brokaw Ave.
After officers arrived, they were told by the 50-year-old woman who lives at the residence that she thought she was having a seizure. She also told officers Munoz, an acquaintance, had come to her residence and that he was high and hallucinating from drugs. She said Munoz began searching her residence for the devil.
The victim stated that Munoz grabbed a pair of scissors and told her he was going to kill her. He was apparently scared away by a neighbor who heard the victim screaming.
Munoz was located a short time later walking in the 1900 block of North Ave. He was transported and booked at the local jail on charges of making terrorist threats. He was later transferred to the Kings County Jail in Hanford.
Munoz was being held on $50,000 bail.
