Mass services will be held Friday, Jan. 9 at 10 a.m. in Our Lady of Lourdes Catholic Church for Maria Reina Mendoza, who was born January 24, 1997 in Tulare, CA to Juan J. Mendoza and Esperanza Rodriguez Mendoza.
Maria died December 28, 2014 at the age of 17.
A senior at Corcoran High School, Maria enjoyed sports, cheerleading, running and spending time with her family, boyfriend and friends.
She is survived by her parents, Juan and Esperanza; her siblings, Lucero, Denise, Christy, Johnny and Sienna; her grandparents, Carmen and Ignacio Mendoza and Lucia and Mario Rodriguez; great grandmother, Socorro Mendoza; boyfriend, Gavino Alvarez and a host of other relatives and friends.
Visitation will be held at Bledsoe Family People’s Funeral Chapel Thursday, Jan. 8 from 3-6 p.m. Following visitation, rosary will be held in Our Lady of Lourdes Catholic Church at 7 p.m.
Following services Friday, burial will be held at Corcoran Cemetery.
