Committal services were held Wednesday Sept. 9 at 9 a.m. at Corcoran District Cemetery for Maria Teresa Elias, who died Aug. 29 at her son’s home surrounded by family.
Teresa was born October 15, 1967 in Mexicali, Baja, California. Teresa as she was known to many was a second grade school teacher for 25 years.
Survivors include her son, Robert Martinez; mother, Gudelia Elias; brothers, Antonio Elias and Javier Elias; sisters, Maria Victoria Monroy and Virginia Elias Correa. She is also survived by her nieces and nephews, Zabrina Archuleta, Jonathan Bonilla, Melissa Elias, Katrina Elias, Vincent Bonilla, Max Correa and Estrella Condey.
Visitation was held Tuesday, September 8 at Bledsoe Family Peoples Funeral Chapel from 3-7 p.m. followed by rosary at 5 p.m.
Arrangements were made under the direction of the Bledsoe Family Peoples Funeral Chapel.
