Services were held Saturday, March 4 for Mariano Montiel Montoya, 85, who died Feb. 17 in Hanford.
Mariano was born August 17, 1937 in Las Cruces, New Mexico to Mariano and Francisca Montoya. Mariano worked as a farm laborer for 41 years.
He is survived by his children, Rachel M. Ortiz and Manuel Montoya III; his siblings, Margaret, Diane and Lucio; four grandchildren; and seven great grandchildren.
Burial was held at the Corcoran Cemetery. Arrangements were made under the direction of the Bledsoe Family Peoples Funeral Chapel.
