Funeral Services were held at Bledsoe Family People’s Funeral Chapel, April 27 at 11 a.m. for Nancy G. Venegas, 73, who died April 17 at her home with family by her side.
Nancy was born in Corcoran, California on March 25, 1944 to Ralph M. Gallegos and Betty Leal Gallegos. Nancy was a classy, elegant lady. When she was young, her mother taught her how to clean and cook. She was an amazing cook.
Nancy was very devoted to God and family. She continually prayed for everyone. Nancy had a very gentle and kind spirit. She was a good listener, always thought of everyone before herself and treated everyone equal and without discrimination. Nancy worked in the fields, among other jobs to help the family, however her greatest accomplishment was being a homemaker. She loved her home and family.
Survivors include her children, Edna and husband, Craig Wilson of Hanford, Betty Venegas and companion, Larry Conner of Hanford, Gilbert Venegas and husband, Richard L. Mascorra of Citrus Heights and Rodney Venegas and wife, Maria of Corcoran. She is also survived by her brother, Ralph Gallegos, Jr. and sister, Sylvia Campas, eight grandchildren and three great grandchildren; numerous close friends and other relatives.
She was preceded in death by her husband Gilbert S. Venegas.
Following services interment was at Corcoran District Cemetery. Arrangements were made under the direction of the Bledsoe Family People’s Funeral Chapel.
