Mass services will be held Wednesday, February 1 at 10 a.m. for Nellie Garcia Navarro, 85, who died Jan. 23 in Corcoran.
Mrs. Navarro was born in Gary, Indiana but had made her home in Corcoran for 64 years.
She is survived by her husband Lupe; her children, Dolores Ruane and Stanley Navarro; a sister, Lupe Cruz; brother, Nick Saldana; 12 grandchildren; 32 great-grandchildren; and four great-great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her son, Danny Navarro and her parents and siblings.
Visitation will be held at Bledsoe Family People’s Funeral Chapel Tuesday, January 31 from 3-6 p.m. Rosary will be held at 7pm at Our Lady of Lourdes Catholic Church.
Following mass services, interment will be at Corcoran District Cemetery.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in her name to the American Cancer Society.
