Mass services were held Wednesday, July 6 in Our Lady of Lourdes Catholic Church for Norma Julia Hernandez, 63, who died June 24 in Hanford surrounded by family.

Hernandez has been a homemaker for 35 years.
Survivors include her husband, Max Avalos; children, Sylvia Hernandez, Jose Carmona, Mary Ann Gutierrez, Julie Contreras, Veronica Perez, David Ruiz and Monica Ruiz; two siblings Jimmy Hernandez and Yolanda Hernandez; 26 grandchildren; and seven great-grandchildren.
Following services, interment was at Corcoran District Cemetery.
