The Corcoran Unified School District is welcoming parents to become volunteers. The district will hold a presentation on the necessary steps for becoming a volunteer in the district Tuesday, Nov. 29 from 5-6 p.m. in the Technology Learning Center (TLC).

Forms can be returned to the district office between 8 a.m.-4 p.m. Monday through Friday. The district office is located at 1520 Patterson Avenue.

According to the district, parent volunteers play an important role in modern education. They are great resources for teachers and a solid support for the school community. Parents who volunteer also demonstrate to their children and others that school is important and worth the time and effort.
