Pedro “Pete” Zuniga Villanueva Coronado was born in Waco, Texas March 30, 1939 to Eusebio Villanueva and Anastacia Zuniga Villanueva.  His father passed away before he was born and his mother passed away when he was just one year old.  Aurelia and Gilbert Coronado became his parents.

Pete worked in the fields all his life.  He married Rosita Bonilla Carrasco August 11, 1961.  They were married until her passing in 2011.  He enjoyed family sharing stories and loved company.  He also had a humorous side.  Pete is survived by his children, Kathleen Coronado Cruz, Rubiana Coronado, Rosita Duran, Adam Coronado and Gabriel Coronado.  He is also survived by 29 grandchildren and 55 great-grandchildren.  A celebration of life service will be held was held June 8 at 10 a.m. at the United Methodist Church. Following services, interment will be at Corcoran District Cemetery.
