After competing with 479 events across the state, the Corcoran Relay for Life has been named the “Pack the Track” challenge winner for the entire state.
The challenge enlisted all the relays to see who could increase their percentage of participants to goal between Jan 26-Feb. 3. After making the push to help win the challenges, the Corcoran relay is almost 20 percent of the way to its total goal.
“If you want to become a part of this now state-acclaimed relay and help us pack the track in the fight against cancer, I would love to hear from you,” said Ron Subia, chairman of this year’s event.
Subia added that the Corcoran Relay is making special outreach efforts this year to both cancer survivors and cancer patient caretakers.
