A Celebration of Life will be held Thursday, October 5 at 1 p.m. at Salser and Dillard Funeral Home in Visalia for Robert (Bobby) “Big Rob” Atilano, 52, who died September 13, 2023 in Visalia.
Bobby worked for The Corcoran Journal for nearly 25 years as the Display Ads and Legals Manager. He was a 1989 graduate of Corcoran High School. Bobby was an avid sports fan. He loved to root on his favorite teams—the Dodgers, Lakers and Rams. When he wasn’t watching sports, you could find “Big Rob” on a bank somewhere fishing with his wife and their two dogs, Bessie and Teaslie. He also loved to take Brandi on trips to the coast and the mountains.
Bobby was known for many wonderful things but mostly for loving and caring for his wife, Brandi. He was also the best “Tio Bobby” who would spend his weekends watching his nephew play baseball. Rob was the life of the party and someone who his family and friends could always count on.
Rob was dearly loved and will be missed by all who knew him.
Survivors include his beloved wife of nearly 20 years, LiBrandi Atilano of Visalia; his mother, Celia Luna Lepe of Corcoran; his siblings, Tina (Brant) Botill and Joey (Karrie) Lepe, both of Corcoran and Jesse Lepe of Texas; his mother-in-law and father-in-law, Anna and Lupe Flores Sr. of Visalia; his brother-in-law, Lupe Flores Jr. of Visalia; his grandfather, Lorenzo Luna Sr. of Corcoran; and numerous nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles, cousins, and friends.
The Salser and Dillard Funeral Home is located at 127 E. Caldwell Avenue in Visalia. Following services, a reception will be held at the T.D.E.S. Hall in Tulare.
