Robert Wayne “Bob” Barnett, 77, of Marianna, Arkansas passed away Tuesday, September 19, 2017. He was born Sunday, November 26, 1939 to Maurice W. Barnett and Lois Johnson Barnett Duke in Marianna, Arkansas. Mr. Barnett was a former resident of Corcoran and he worked for the J.G. Boswell Company until retirement.
Mr. Barnett is survived by his wife, Elaine Barnett, of the home; two sons, Alan Wayne Barnett of Oregon; Brian Scott Barnett, of Asheville, North Carolina; two daughters, Renee Trogdon (Danny), of Greensboro, North Carolina; Sheila Javaux (David), of Corcoran, California; six grandchildren, Elisha, Seth, Gabrielle, Jordan, Jake, Alana, four great-grandchildren, Aiden, Owen, Payton and Judson, one brother, Maurice ‘’Buddy’’ Barnett, of Hot Springs, Arkansas; and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins and friends. He was preceded in death by his parents, and one sister, Marcia Woodyard. A memorial service will be at First Baptist Church, Main Street in Marianna on Saturday October 28, 2017.
